Wooden blocks are a great toy for your child. They allow your child to be creative, they are an all natural toy with no unsafe plastics to worry about, and they are quite fun to play with. I would surely recommend that you buy a set of wooden blocks for your child, boy or girl, because they will have such a fun time playing with their new wooden blocks. There are separate types of wooden blocks on the market, and here are some of them.

Random Wood Blocks - You can buy sets of wood blocks that come in all shapes and sizes for you to be able to build cool, small structures. You won't be able to build truly tall structures, but they are great for younger kids to be able to start getting into building,

Lincoln Logs - The classic wood structure construction set. You can built awesome log cabins with these blocks. The best part is that they are able to join together with each other so then you know that you will have quite a strong structure. But, the down side is that you are not truly able to build any other log cabins out of Lincoln Logs.

Citiblocs - Citiblocs are a great new, popular type of toy. They are environmentally friendly, and the blocks are even made from the wood of continually replenished forests. They are all cut to be the exact same size, and to even succeed a very specific ratio, to allow you to have a very stable, well built, and amazing tall structure if you so desire.

There are other types of blocks similar to Citiblocs from other makers, and they each have their pros and cons. All I know if that wooden blocks are surely an awesome toy, and I recommend them to everyone!
